Ken Paxton is the no-compromise conservative fighter we need in Washington. As Texas Attorney General, he has repeatedly proven that he will not back down from defending our God-given Second Amendment rights—and we believe he is exactly the kind of principled leader who will take the fight to the swamp in D.C.

Why Ken Paxton Earned GOA’s Endorsement

Ken Paxton has earned an A+ rating with GOA for one simple reason: he defends the Constitution without apology.

Unlike John Cornyn—who authored the disastrous “Cornyn-Murphy Gun Control Bill” in 2022—Ken Paxton stands firm. That bill, officially known as the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, funded “red flag” confiscation programs and expanded Biden’s war on gun owners. Cornyn even called it a “good start,” aligning himself with Biden and Chuck Schumer instead of Texas values.

Ken Paxton, on the other hand, never betrayed gun owners.

He understands that the Second Amendment is not about hunting or sport shooting—it’s about the right of the people to defend themselves against tyranny and violence.

A Proven Defender of the Second Amendment

• Partnered with GOA in federal lawsuits against Biden’s ATF to block:

  • The pistol brace ban, and

  • The unconstitutional “universal registration rule”.

  These efforts resulted in a preliminary injunction protecting Texans and GOA members.

• In 2022, filed a lawsuit against the ATF to protect Texas-made suppressors from federal overreach, defending intrastate firearms freedom.

• In 2024, challenged Biden’s expanded background check rules on private sales, asserting that the ATF exceeded its authority and violated the Second Amendment.

This is the kind of leader we need in the U.S. Senate—someone who will take a sledgehammer to the D.C. Establishment, not shake hands with it.
