Recently, we saw anti-gunners in Congress team up with turncoat Republicans like Senator John Cornyn to pass radical gun control that includes a bribe pot for gun confiscation and delays for gun purchases by young adults.
Nonetheless, GOA is fighting back in DC and in the Lone Star State. As you may know, we recently brought on Wes Virdell as our new Texas State Director.
But in truth, our team can’t defeat the gun grabbers on our own; we need involvement from people like you.
In fact, we want to hear from you. That’s why we’re hosting a “Get to Know the GOA Texas Team” next Thursday, July 14th from 6:30pm-8:30pm CT at the Hilton Garden Inn Austin Downtown (Colorado Room) located at 500 N Interstate 35 Austin, TX 78701. (The hotel offers valet parking at a flat rate of $10, and there are parking garages/street parking nearby).
At this roundtable discussion, you’ll hear directly from GOA’s Director of Operations Tony DeGusipe, Texas State Director Wes Virdell, our Texas Legislative Council Team Richard Hayes, Emily Taylor, Dylan Price, and other guest speakers. We’ll be discussing GOA’s mission and vision for Texas, covering legislative action items, as well as giving you the opportunity to share your feedback and ideas, plus more!
GOA’s Steven Willeford, the Barefoot Defender, will also be a guest speaker.
